[ForSale-Swap] Lots of Schtuff FS

For a variety of reasons, I'm selling off most of my radio schtuff.
This'll include (more to come as I go through my basement):

1. 120 feet of Rohn 25G; 1 section has the tapered top, 1 section
with flat top with bearing (don't know what size). I also have three
of the 8-foot long tower side covers to keep kids off the rungs. I
have no rotor plates nor guy brackets, just tower sections and the
cover plates. $55 per section; all is old and used but all is in good
shape and straight, although some do have some rust on one side from
weather exposure. These used to be part of two 80 meter verticals
just two years ago.

2. Kenwood TS680S all-band XCVR, 160 through 6m. Has narrow CW filter
installed. Good shape all-around, this was my main radio when not
using one of my TS120S's. $400 with manual and schematic copies from the web.

3. Kenwood TS120S... I have several in good working condition plus
two more for parts or you replace the drivers or final transistors.
$125 for the non-transmitting ones, $250 for the working ones. I have
thoroughly cleaned every radio and will check them out again before shipping.

4. BTI LK-2000 amplifier. This was Brad Thompson Industries el cheapo
copy of the Collins 30S1 except with a 3-1000A. This has been my main
amplifier for several years. I thoroughly cleaned it up then
carefully recharged the original filter caps. The capacitance meter
says all the original caps are still within 10% of their rated
capacity; and the leakage current is less than several milliamperes.
Unfortunately, before I bought the amp, it had sat in a damp basement
for awhile and the steel outer panels developed some surface rusting
but it's just barely noticeable in photos, although more prominent
when seen in person. I'd repaint it except I don't know how I could
replace the original BTI logo. This amp has the original lower-power
transformer, not the high-power one. I did have to go into the
transformer to repair a burned-open secondary wire but since then,
it's been working great. The 3-1000A, unfortunately, is not at 100%;
it will generate around 1100 watts on the lower bands, however, and
at least 800 on the higher bands. I've tried 4-1000s but did not
disable the original cathode bias and so the 4-1000s would also not
generate the legal limit. Photos upon request. $750.

5. Heath HA-14 Kompact KW amplifier with HP24 HV power supply. This
model, a smaller knock-off of the venerable Heath SB200 amplifier,
was originally unrealistically intended for mobile installation
(although I know quite a few did see use within a car or truck, for
at least awhile). The tubes are somewhat soft in this one and it'll
generate between 350 and 400 watts on the lower bands. Until I
acquired the BTI, this was my main amp and gave me maybe 6 dB gain
over the barefoot radio. I've attempted to enhance it's performance
on 80 and 40 CW by changing the input matching circuits per several
web articles, to varying degrees of success. I'll toss in the muffin
fan I used to keep running to keep the power transformer cool. I've
always loved this amp and, when I can afford to get back on HF again,
will look for another. $500.

6. Microwave Modules XVTR..... 432 to 28 MHz, installed into a
rack-mount box with a 60 watt homebrew solid-state amp including all
antler switching and linear power supplies. For years, this was my
main 432 transverter. If I were on 432 now, it probly would still be.
Now, it's surplus and has to go 8-( I believe this MM transverter is
the dual-band satellite model but forget... if it matters, I can have
a look. This used to drive my old 500 watt surplus 4CX250K amplifier,
and never got any distortion complaints. $OFFER!!!

7. Two AM-6154/6155 amplifiers. I'm not positive how thoroughly
modified these are, nor the condition of the tubes, as yet. One has
the VHF drawer, the other has the UHF drawer. $250 each as-is or I'll
go through them and apply my modifications for $400 each. These weigh
around 70 lbs each so shipping will be fairly expensive. It might be
better to ship the HVPS by itself, I'll have to look at the
difference in shipping cost accordingly.

Photos are available. There'll be more as I slowly catalog my
schtuff. I'm also selling off my car parts, which are mainly 1980's
A/G-body body parts such as hoods, fenders, bumpers, etc. If you know
what that is, then you might be interested; I won't list it here
since it's not radio-related.

I'll happily deliver anything for 30 cents per mile. I'm in
southwestern CT, zip 06776 Of course, I won't ship the tower stuff,
nor the BTI, but the others can be shipped much more cheaply.
Shipping is at your expense. I'll be taking a road trip to Oklahoma
in late March so delivery to the midwest of anything is possible
(although I don't know if I can carry all the 25G sections at once
in my El Camino).
