Heil Classic Studio Microphone, Pro Articulated Topless Boom, CB-1 Base, &
6-Foot Yaesu Cable
------------------------------------------------------------
My brother bought these about two years ago, used the microphone for less
than six months, and they've been sitting since. Most excellent condition,
and the boom has not been out of the box.
Also, callsign letters were never mounted on the microphone. You can call
or e-mail Heil to obtain your callsign letters for a nominal fee.
This Heil Classic is an exact copy of a 1930 RCA 74B broadcast microphone.
It’s fitted with two of Heil Sound’s dynamic elements.
The standard element is Heil’s ‘Broadcast’ element, with a frequency
response of 50 Hz to 18 kHz, with a +4 dB rise at 2200 Hz—for excellent
articulation.
The second element fitted to this microphone is the Heil HC-5 element, well
known for its full tailored audio. This element can be easily changed out
for Heil’s “DX” element, the HC-4.
The cable supplied is for use with 8-pin Yaesu & Ten-Tec radios and is six
feet long.
The base supplied with this microphone is the optional CB-1, and weighs
almost five pounds.
For the microphone mounted on the CB-1 base, the six-foot cable, and the
articulated boom; I’m asking $200 plus $10.00 shipping to Continental US.
