Do you know anything about the history of the TS-940? That is the first
production run and had a few bugs that were covered by Kenwood
Bulletins.

Subject: [ForSale-Swap] KENWOOD TS-940S

F/S Kenwood TS-940S (S/N) 5100198 HF transceiver, has built in antenna
tuner, 2.7 KHz SSB filter, MC-60A desk microphone, SP-930 speaker with
audio filters, original owners operation manual, original technical
manual. This radio is clean inside and out. Transceiver puts out 100
watts. Works on all modes and functions. The USB & LSB white lettering
on the push buttons are worn off, but the push buttons works okay. One
lamp behind the meter is burned out and is easy to replace. The LCD
clock also has two bulbs burned out and needs replaced, the clock works
okay. There are no scratches or dents on the radio. It came from a local
ham friend who is SK. He took very good care of his equipment. Asking
$750.00 for the transceiver. You may contact me by email
k6ksg at howard.co-us.
