[ForSale-Swap] Question for the group?

I ran into some medium duty springs for like a CB whip that have a RCA female connector on the bottom of the spring with a 1/2 male thread. The top has 1/2 female thread and inside is insulated pin. The spring also came with a RCA male connector that has a short red wire. Anybody know what these are or even what they are used for? There cute and I just need to know! Thanks Mike
