HOW TO BUY & CONVERT SURPLUS RADIO EQUIPMENT by Mark Starin, 1982, 480 pages.
Until recently, the only book of its kind.  Covers the RF Communications
Co-Pilot, Motorola Handie-Talkie (H & P Series), TRC-77, GRC-9 Receiver,
PRC-6, FRR-36 Receiver, RT-70, and RT-66, RT-67, RT-68.  Each chapter
consists of large parts of the original TM or Manual, covering theory of
operation, operation, and maintenance, with schematics, charts, diagrams.
"Conversion" information is limited to things like suggestions on how to
power the radios.  $30.00 shipped.


THE TEST EQUIPMENT DATA HANDBOOK (T.E.D. HANDBOOK) by the Frederick Research
Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland.  (The date would be the early 1960s).

"Frederick Research Corporation has compiled a series of volumes which
contain test equipment descriptions.  The items described are primarily those
used by government agencies and contractors."

"This research was supported by the USAF under contract AF 33(038)12897,
and monitored by the Wright Air Development Center, ARDC."
