As much as it distresses me, I have decided to sell a Heathkit Mohawk  RX-1 receiver that I was going to refurb and put back
into use.
 
The known issues on this receiver are these:  The dial cord has broken and will need to be restrung.   The dial drum is
in great condition, but the strip of glass over the window is broken.
 
When I received the radio, I was told that it had been receiving until the dial cord broke.  So, I suspect that the bandswitch
may have slipped into the wrong position when the dial cord broke and the band switch was turned again.
 
Cosmetically, the unit is in great shape.  I would rate it at an 8 or 9 out of 10.
 
Contact me off list if interested....     This should be a project that wont take a whole lot of effort to get back going again.
I just have WAY too little time anymore to really get into it and I have two Apaches and a DX 100 that have higher priority right now.
I am also remodeling the shack and space is going to be a bit less when I'm done, so I'm making the hard decisions on
what must be kept and what is really in the realm of daydreaming now...
