You know, back several years ago when a company did most of the
leg work for dara, I heard people bemoaning the lack of hams doing
stuff.  Now, I hear the opposite.

Yet, despite the 'lateness' of things like the tickets going out, they
still do get done, and the show goes on.

I could relate some real horror stories of events at things like the
National Computer Conference, CES and others where there are 
nothing but "professionals" running things.

Could things be better?  Yes, absolutely.  But they could be a
whole lot worse, too.
