Folks:
If you havent heard back from me on the ARC stuff, please be patient. I did not anticipate the interest that has been expressed. I am trying to get back to all of you in between school at night and work during the day, honey-dos, etc.

MEANWHILE, I did come across a few more units in the load of stuff we picked up. As soon as I can get model numbers, I will post them here. Again, if no interest, they will go to the curb on Friday afternoon.

I have come across two pieces of test equipment I thought I'd let you know about to see if anyone is interested. One is labeled TS-15A/AP. It is a flux meter. Now I've been a ham since the late 60s and I must admit I don't have the faintest idea what a flux meter is or does. If you do and are interested, let me know.

The other piece has a name plate on it that says Vibrotest. U.S. Navy Type Model 218. The meter inside is labeled MEGOHMS. I'm told it was called a MEGGER, but again, you got me what it was used for. The word VIBROTEST conjures up thoughts of a vibrator tester, but that's just my uneducated thought. Maybe someone can educate me as well as put a few dollars in my pocket (HI HI).

Again, I am not trying to get into a bidding war. Would prefer to see these sold to someone who collects or can use or restore them. So, I'm not going to ask for "the E place" prices. I'm not even going to list them there because I want to move them to someone's home as quick as I can who can make use of them one way or another. So, I will dicker, but I won't get into a bidding war.
If you are interested in these two units, give me an idea of what you think a fair price is and we can, if necessary, haggle a bit to dot the I's and cross the T's.

Someone has referred me to a site where they give general price ranges for old military equipment, but I must admit I havent looked yet, I'm trusting the group here. After all, if you can't trust a fellow ham, then the world has become a pretty darn p-poor place.
