Test Socket Adapters. The idea with these was to plug the adapter into the tube socket, then plug the tube into the adapter. The adapter gave you test points above the chassis for making measurements without removing the radio from the chassis. Very handy.
 
Vector T789C Current Probe Test Socket Adapter Set. This set is NOS in the original plastic box with documentation. It includes 3 adapters--Octal, 9-pin and 7-pin. The current probe and plate cap adapter are also included. These current probe adapters are less common than the voltage type normally seen. You can use them to measure voltage at the test points just like with the normal adapters. But if you look closely at the test point, it is actually a contact set that breaks the circuit when the included current probe is inserted between the contact tabs. You connect the ends of the current probe to your VOM or VTVM and voila, you can now measure current at any tube pin from above the chassis, without disconnecting any wires--a huge time saver where current measurements are important for problem solving, bias adjustments, etc. I also have the Vector current adapters for 9-pin and 12-pin compactrons in like-new condition which I will include. So this is a
