Hello, All,

I am selling my Alinco VHF FM Transceiver.

This unit is in mint condition.  I bought it in July from a ham radio  
retailer new. I had intended to use this radio as a "glove  
compartment HT". Thing is, it never got moved to my glove  
compartment, I never use it (I very rarely operate VHF anyway) and  
now I want to by an Elecraft KX1. So it's for sale!

Most specs are the same, save this is a 2 Meter radio, of course. So  
it's frequency range is more like:
TX144-147.995 MHz
RX135-174.995 MHz

It gives 5 watts of output and has a 40 channel memory.  This unit  
was made in Japan -- serial# M103853. Comes with everything as new:  
Battery, Wall Charger, Manual, Schematics and boxed.

One really unique thing about this radio--and one of the reasons I  
bought it--is it has a Mosquito Repel Sound (MRS) that you can set it  
to emit from it's speaker. Yes, that's right, this HT also repels  
mosquitos.  :) This is a great thing for outdoor radio events.
