Hi All,

Since the screen failed in my old NEC laptop I decided to "partially" part
it out, saving just the "brain" and floppy drive to use as a keyer for my
beacon.  Here is what I have.  Perhaps these items will help someone get an
old laptop back into service.  Some of these prices probably just covers
shipping plus a cup of coffee 8^)

1.  Hitachi DK223A-81 2 3/4 inch hard drive.  775MB.  FRESHLY F-disked, and
DOS formatted so it is "bootable", otherwise, no operating system installed.
Scandisked with all clusters checking good.  NOT sure what these are worth,
but I'll ship it to any USA address for a $30.00 money order.

2.  'New Media' 56K Netsurfer fax modem, fits a single PCIA laptop slot.
With driver disk and "Phone tools" disks, but NO "Phone Dongle".  When I
received the laptop it had the wrong dongle, labeled "Ethernet card".  $7.00
delivers to a USA address.

3.  Teac CD-48 CD ROM drive.  This unit 'may' have problems.  Sometimes it
would read a CD, other times not.  Usually, resetting the drive (sliding it
out and back in) would take care of the problem.  Since the laptop had other
issues it may very well have been a bad plug in the laptop.  If you want to
take a chance on it, it's $8.00 mailed to any USA address.

4.  Original owners manual and driver diskettes for the NEC Versa 2400
laptop.  $6.00 mails it to your USA address.

OR, a money order of $40.00 will get it ALL mailed to you. . .
