I currently use the DEM model 50-28 transverter with my Orion and it 
works great.

The transverter puts out 20W without the amp and 150W with the Mirage amp.

DEM has the reputation of putting out the best VHF/UHF products in the 
business and their customer service is excellent.

I will sell the transverter separately together with all the cables 
(suitable for Orion, FT1000MP and probably most other HF transceivers) 
and original manual for $200.  If you want the transverter AND the amp, 
the price is $350.  Otherwise the price of the amp is $165.  Both plus
