Here is a new one for you guys. I am looking to trade ham gear for this and
it must be a pickup.

I have a 10" Meade Telescope. The focal length is 4.5 and it is a sonotube.
It has an Atlas Heavy Duty EQ6 Equatorial Mount with dual motors. JMI
crayford focuser and Parallax Instruments built rings and a mount for this
telescope. It also has a 9 X 50 right angle correct image focuser, a Telrad
and some eyepieces. There also is a telescope cover for the main optical
tube assembly. This is not a toy. Under clear dark skies one can see
galaxies and the mirror is in very good condition. I also have sky charts
and atlases for sale and other astronomy related things.

I am selling it because it sits in my closet most of the year. I just don't
use it and rather trade for something amateur radio related.

The trade value of this telescope is around $1800 and would make a very nice
gift for a grandson or son interested in astronomy. As I stated earlier,
this is not a toy or a Wal-Mart variety type telescope. You find these types
of telescopes in some of your smaller observatories. This is not a GOTO
scope. One can truely learn the night sky the proper way using this.

Serious inquiries please. I will provide a picture via email to such
inquiries.
