Spiral antenna configuration is not new.
The old radio 'spider web' for AM reception is just one good example.
There is a lot more information in many and sundry places.

The assertion with regard to TAK-tenna is based upon:
1.  technical improvements upon previous art;
2.  manufacture of an appropriate construction;
3.  easy availability of a practical product.

Very seldom is any idea or entity really New.
The history of Science is a continuum.

>From a personal perspective, I frankly have - and herein do state, again - 
that if I have made any contribution it is because I have stood on the shoulders 
of those who have proceeded me...just like all the others have done.

In closing, I wish to say that I have really busted my Butt working very hard 
to make available a functional and well made antenna for those folks who are 
not endowed with acreage to string up a traditional stretched-out half wave 
dipole antenna...for only 48 bucks!!
