Western Electric 450A tube. I think this is a klystron, but I did not 
find any data on the net. It is mounted in a block or maybe it is the 
whole tube, with a window for a waveguide on one side a 1/4" shaft to 
tune the whole thing on the other. looks to be gold plated or maybe sold 
gold-who knows? As new in the box , but I cannot "guarantee" it.

with a gold chain, I some times wear it at ham fests makes for an
