Hallicrafters S-40 Receiver.........$75 plus shipping
This radio plays on all bands and sounds good. I have checked all of the
tubes on one of my Hickok tube testers and they are all very good.
Switches and controls have been De-Ox’ed. The BFO works and all
functions work. It has all of the correct knobs, no extra holes and
appears to be all original. It does have the usual wear, scuffs and
scratches you might find on a 60 year old radio. The bandspread dial
cord has come off and needs to be restrung. This radio would be a good
restoration candidate. Includes a photocopy of the Sam's manual.

Hallicrafters HT-18 Project.........$65 plus shipping
This unit is missing a few tubes and has the incorrect knobs.
Cosmetically the unit is not bad. The shaft on the deviation control has
been cut off. This is a single pole wafer switch so it should not be
hard to replace. I have verified that the power transformer is OK. I
don't think it would take to much to get this going. No further testing
was done do to the missing tubes.
