My SONAR VFX 680 rack-mount 160-2M CW/NBFM Exciter for
Your compact mobile tube-type 160-10M or 80-10M AM/CW
Transmitterthat.

10 or 20W output is OK though 50W or better would be nice.
Gonset, Pierson, Multi-Elmac, mil surplus, homebrew are
all possibilities.  Transmitter must be in good cosmetic
and operating condition without troublesome hacks.

MY GEAR to SWAP:

w/tubes and several coils. (Scanned manual and pictures are
available.  It is complete and in good condition and unhacked
but is untested. This is a very rare piece of equipment.)

4-Section nos Air Variable Capacitor (picture available)

Assortment of air variables, four bathtub .01MFD 2500WVDC
caps, misc. caps, & lotsa other components

And, a large home brew aluminum foot switch

Unless we work a swap in the north-of-Tampa area we'd
