My experience wasn't a theft, and the seller eventually turned out to be
honorable. I bought a rotor that, when I got it, wouldn't rotate.
Disassembly revealed it had stripped gears. I took pictures of the stripped
gears and e-mailed the seller. He said he was unable to open my pictures,
dunno why. We went back and forth several times but he wouldn't budge; he
figgered I had switched rotors and was trying to cheat him. I finally filed
an e-Bay dispute thingy. Two more e-mails later, the seller did agree to
return my purchase price. I was out the shipping each way but I was
gratified the seller finally relented and refunded my money via Paypal.

So there ARE good guys out there. I feel bad for my seller, and I'm sorry
it turned out that his rotor was broken. I honestly suspect he had no idea
and I bet it broke during some wind storm and he was unaware of it when he
took down his antler. The rotor and control box were otherwise as he had
advertised and I debated keeping it and fixing it. The problem for me was
that when I priced replacement parts from Yaesu, I could have bought a NEW
rotor for only $50 more; so it really wasn't economically feasible to repair.

If he's reading this, let me express my appreciation for our satisfactory
transaction again, Larry 8-)
