[ForSale-Swap] ranger 2950

Not to mention... when the rig is on the air & trust me... IT WILL SOLATTER
& be heard all over the band! This invites FCC to start looking and it is
rough on the individual that is using a rig that IS NOT FCC compliant!
Fine, confiscation and possible prison term... they have been cracking down
on violators as they don't have enough staff so, when they do catch one...
an example is made so as to, hopefully, scare off others that may want to do
the same stupid thing.

When I hear someone on the air with a rig that is splattering, I first,
refuse to talk to them and secondly will call the closest FCC monitoring
station as will most hams that have been around for awhile and love our
hobby and want to keep it clean. Of course, this is when I can identify
they are using an illegal radio... if not, then I will talk to them and help
them adjust the gain so as to reduce or eliminate splatter... thus the
reason I have a monitor scope attached to my rig (look at my own signal and
assist those that want to know what kind of signal they are putting out).

Best 73,

Paul K4BET

It is only a jumper that allows cb, a simple replacement of this jumper will

do the trick, but be warned, these are junk splatter rigs. 73 Dale
