[ForSale-Swap] Earthlink complaint

Seems that each new day brings new reasons for complaints

Today it is Earthlinks wonderful spam policy.

I got an email from a fellow using Earthlink

I replied.

Then I get an email from an Earthlink robot asking me to fill out a form
so they can be sure the reply is not spam.

Well, guess what, I consider that message from Earthlink to be spam. I
marked it as such. Now any more requests from Earthlink will be sent to
the trashbin automatically. You dont need Earthlink to be messing with
folks to prevent spam. All you need is Thunderbird.

Okay, so now I still have a problem. The guy who originally sent me the
message I replied to is not going to get my reply. Yeah, that is a
problem, but I consider that is his problem.

When you send out email requiring a reply, make sure the person you are
communicating to is not burdened by some unecessary procedure dreamed up
by an ISP that has lost his mind.

I now have an entirely new view of recent Earthlink ads. I believe
they really do have giants, faries, and dwarfs working there.
