* Moving Sale: *I'm moving to a new QTH and my tower
and antenna, located in Lynchburg, VA, are for sale.

The tower is a Heights aluminum 64 foot tapered tower.
Unguyed the tower is rated for 11 sq. ft. With a
set of guys, the rating would be much greater.
The tower is made up of 1 AT-14 top section, 1 AC-14
straight section, 1 AJ-18 tapered section, 2 AC-18 straight
sections, 1 AJ-22 tapered section and 2 AC-22 straight
sections. The retail price of the tower if bought from
Heights would total $1,978. With one set of guys, this
tower supported a Christmas tree of 4 element mono-
band yagis on 20, 15 and 10 with no trouble.

The antenna is a Force 12 EF-420/240, a duo bander
with 4 full sized elements on 20 meters and 2 linear
loaded shortened elements on 40 meters. The antenna
lists for $1,195

The total value of the package would be $3,173 if
bought new today.

This antenna and tower are in daily use and make
a great package. The reason for sale is that I can
no longer climb and maintain a free-standing tower.
I am moving to a new location and my next system
will include a tilt over tower.

Here are a few photos of the installation:

Shown in the photos, but not included in the
package are the rotor, rotor shelf, mast and
remote antenna switch and various wire antennas.

I am open to a reasonable offer....or maybe
even a little less than reasonable. :-)

While I am willing to help as a part of the
ground crew, taking the antenna and tower
down will be the responsibility of the buyer.
