Are these manuals for the older ham equipment, or the educational stuff?

BTW, recently I did some research on the copyright on a song my Dad wrote in 
the 1930's. I was told by the person at the Library of Congress that the 
copyright expires 20 years after issue and that if it is not renewed, it 
will 'expire'. (Also, I was able to get a copy for free from them)
So, I guess the real way to check would be to pick a particular manual 
(Heath) and research the copyright on that manual.
