Hi All,

Except for possibly an occasional "baby BA" I'm totally retiring from the BA 
scene and selling off most of the specialized test equipment and some 
radios).  The SP-600 that I'm presently working on will be the last of the 
big-rigs.  It's gotten to where I just can't move them around the shop 
without pulling my back out of joint anymore.  In any case, I've burnt out 
on repairing the stuff and just want to use the few rigs that I've chosen as 
keepers.

NOTE:  IF SOMEBODY WANTS TO 'PICK UP' ALL THESE ITEMS HERE IN MERCED 
(Central California), WE COULD PROBABLY COME TO An agreement that both would 
be happy with (and I'd probably toss in some "extras") Consideration for 
such a "deal" will take precedence over individual sales. 8^)

The list as it stands:

1.  Hickock 800A Trans-Conductance Tube Checker.  Some scuffs in the outer 
vinyl covering, inside very nice.  Sockets are in good condition (I 
installed a 7 pin minature 'socket saver' to reduce wear on that one).  The 
Roll Chart is in good condition, unbound copy of the books for obsolete 
tubes etc.  It has sockets for the OLD 4, 5, 6 & 7 pin tubes as well as the 
newer 7/9 pin minature, octal/loctal, compactrons, Nuvistors etc. Works as

2.  Heathkit IT-28 Capacitor/Resistor Bridge, tester.  Checks capacitors for 
rated capacity, Power Factor and leakage UNDER RATED VOLTAGE from 3 to 600 
Volts.  It has had the filter capacitors AND the divider resistors in the 
Voltage range switch replaced (they had all gone up in value).  This is one 
of the "desirable" models and can locate that leaky mica or paper capacitor 
that is giving you problems, leaky electrolytics AND REFORM old electrolytic 
capcitors.  Good cosmetics, works well.

3.  DUE TO SIZE AND WEIGHT, THIS ONE IS 'PICKUP' ONLY, AND PRICED 
ACCORDINGLY!  National NC-183 16 tube general coverage receiver. Xtal 
Filter, tunes 550kc through 31mc as well as 6 meters.  The Push-Pull 6V6's 
sound nice for AM DXing! Cosmetics probably 8/10 with all original knobs 
etc, no rust or dents, some scratches in paint. Been recapped and serviced, 
PLAYS WELL, NICE RADIO.

4.  Hallicrafters S-120 General Coverage receiver (4 tubes plus rectifier). 
Cosmetics fair to average for age.  Been recapped and serviced and plays.

ASKING $30 USD PICKED UP (probably not worth shipping).


5.  Heathkit SW-717 Solid State General Coverage receiver (AC operated). 
Cosmetics fair to average for age.  Been recapped, has a taped, broken 
"ferrite rod".  Set has NEW filter capacitors and plays.

Asking $25 USD PICKED UP (probably not worth shipping).
