[ForSale-Swap] Who really cares if the ARRL has a by line?

Hi,
Sheesh, sorry I brought it up. It would have probably been better to all
concerned if I had sent it to the list manager and inquired.
Hindsight is 20/20, I'll pleasantly reply, then shut my big mouth 8^)
In the past, much to-do has been made on these lists about the E-place
auctions and other "businesses". My primary concern is that, in this day
and age, if you have one commercial company advertising, then others will
want to follow suit, and if not allowed to do so may sue. It's the old
"slippery slope".
Yes, I've made donations to the mail lists. Not as much as I'd have like
to, but what I could. One cash and one by Cashiers check (I don't do
Paypal), but never received any acknowledgment that they ever received
either of them!
Nothing against the ARRL specifically, they're just another radio related
business (and NO, let's not start a thread about this ;-).
