I have a need to downsize some of my accumulated radio "treasures" .

One is a Hallicrafters S-85 receiver. This unit is a 9 cosmetically and 
plays well on the AM broadcast and shortwave bands. It doesn't do well on 
"today's" ham bands. The only issue with it is the bandspread dial needs 
re-stringing.

The other is a SX-110 that has been stored for the past 20 years and is 
clearly a restoration unit. It played well 20 years ago, but I'm hesitant to 
turn it on now for obvious reasons.

I paid $150 (plus shipping)for the S-85 a couple of years ago and have tried 
to sell it for that a few times to no avail. I apparently paid too much for 
it.

I am open to offers on either or both.
