Greetings All,
I was able to purchase a National VFO - 62 today at a local Antique
Radio Swap Meet. It's in poor to fair shape (case is cracked and the
paint is rubbed off in spots) I was able to locate a copy of the manual,
but need some historical input on the VFO. The case seems to be made if
Bakelite and is painted a National Gray, is this how they were
manufactured?. And How does one remove the white mold that has built up
on the control knobs, I remember some time back there was some decision
on the subject. I hope to have the unit up and running to use with my
Gonset G-105 Two Meter transceiver. Any help well be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
