I would put the word out that you are looking for a
Ham in Texas who will pick up what you want and
ship it to you.

You might find someone via the ARRL Club list.

There is also a list somewhere of Ham truckers who
have offered to move gear when they have a route
that makes that practical.  (I copied this to the
flboatanchors list as that is where I heard about
the Ham trucker thing.)
