I just browsed over to Gigaparts.com and saw that the FP-30 is on sale 
for $188.10 with free ground shipping. I had planned to get one at 
some point in the fall but took the plunge today since it is the best 
price I have ever seen (even eBay had a used one sell for more). If 
you were thinking of getting one, the sale is on through tomorrow 
8/31/2006.

I have no financial interest in Gigaparts or Yaesu.
