When I was a kid there were WW II silver aluminum receivers and transmitters
every where. I can't remember if they were called Command Sets or Arc-5 sets
or BC-459s or what ever. Of course I did not want any back then.
What is the chance of getting a couple in mint or near mint conditon for my
WW II collection? What would be a good price for them?
What manual or TM would cover the system in a B-17? I would like to see what
it would take to complete an original radio operator's position in a B-17.
At the moment I can't remember how a pair of headphones would connect to one
of them??? I know hams back in the 50s would convert them and had a jack on
the front installed.
If anyone has any for sale please contact me. Thanks.
Floyd
