Gene,
If you're using Win XP, there is a "power toy" that easily creates a slide 
show.  I think this would be a quick and simple way to get something 
posted.  It can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx
in the right hand column.  It's easy to use.  I don't know if it would work 
on anything other than XP or not.
