Microphones with touchtone (DTMF) pad for sale:
Kenwood MC-53
This mic has the touchtone pad, but also has an additional
four buttons for tasks such as VFO or memory selection,
memory recall, calling a priority frequency, and a programmable
button, along with up and down buttons. It has the modular
connector similar to a LAN cable or phone line. This one
is in very nice shape, and works fine. $50
Data Signal "Data-Coder 5" touchtone mic
This mic has a 12 digit touchtone pad on it, plus a normal
low impedance microphone. Like new. $40
Drake 1525 EM Touchtone Microphone
This is the mic that was used to add a touchtone
pad to a lot of rigs in the 70s and 80s. Normal
hand mic from the front, but has a touchtone pad
on the back. Four pin mic plug.
This particular unit has been used, but is in good
shape and includes paper work. $ 40
CES Model 700 Touchtone (DTMF) microphone
This is much more than your normal touchtone mic.
Although is has the standard touchtone pad on it, it
also has an automatic mode, so that up to 8 pre-
programmed numbers can be dialed. This has an
obvious advantage in mobile use. The keypad also
has a nice soft back light for illumination. It needs
from 10 to 15 volts DC to function, which makes it
great for 13 V DC systems.
This particular unit is unused. It is still in the plastic
bag from CES. There is no connector on it at the
present time, just like it came from the factory. This
means a connector for most any rig can be added.
Detailed manual is included for $50.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
