Here is my story on this one. I bought this radio a couple of weeks ago for probably too much, after being told it worked fine. It shows up and there is no receive on 6 meters. I called the ham who sold it to me and all he said was "Sorry it doesn't work for you." Take it to the local repair shop, picked it up today, and it still doesn't work right. I am tired of spending money on it, and am willing to sell it cheap to someone who wants to fix it up.
For those of you unfamiliar with the TS660, it is a 10 watt quadband rig from the early 1980s, that covers 6/10/12/15 meters, SSB/CW/FM/AM. It has the power cord, mic, the original manual, and a copy of the service manual on CD. I did make a couple of SSB contacts on 15 meters with it.
I am telling you up front that the radio doesn't work right, which is a better deal than I got. I am asking $125 plus shipping for it. Buy this and help restore some of my trust in other hams as this is the 4th radio I have gotten in the past 2 months that doesn't work right. At the rate I am losing money on these deals, I won't be able to afford to be a ham much longer.
