Have two. Am missing a cable for one, but may find it soon or it's easily 
made. Radio Shack model 19-345. Powered by 4xAAA or external 12VDC.

Converts most amateur, marine, some commercial handhelds into a simplex 
repeater. I have used this with ICOM, Yaesu and Alinco, plug compatible, 
no wiring, no adjustments other than volume control on transceiver. 

Will operate with nearly any handheld or mobile if you make a special 
cable for speaker and mike. Cable supplied fits the standard 2.5mm mic 
and 3.5mm speaker audio I/O of most amateur equipment.

When not needed as a repeater, simply unplug and radios are back to 
normal service. 

Units are about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Gray plastic, with a 
green LED to indicate TX. A set of AAA cells will last weeks of daily use 
at 8 hours per day. 

Scarce item, out of production, usually bid up to around sixty bucks on 
the auction site.
