[ForSale-Swap] SWAP: FT-8900R & 2 Laptops for Newer Laptop

I am in need of a 500MHz+ CPU laptop computer for radio room
use in excellent condition.

We are cash-poor due to new steel home construction (see URL
in my sig for pictures) so I need to work a swap.

I have the following to swap:

1.  Yaesu FT-8900R in original box with all original items.

2.  Toshiba Satellite Pro 430CT w/CD drive, outboard fdd,
     modem, mouse, Win98, some freeware Ham and other freeware
     apps loaded.  Works really well, I use it frequently,
     though like most older laptops battery is soft.

3.  Compaq LTE-5280 w/modem, mouse, Win98, outboard Pinnacle
     Micro Recordable CD RCD 4x4 (untested), Compaq Spare HDD
     case w/padded holder (into which you may place a laptop
     HDD to swap in and out in additional the included HDD).
     This laptop works fine, is known to be Linux-friendly,
     like most older laptops battery is soft.

4.  Perhaps other items depending on the laptop.

Prefer an IBM Thinkpad 600-series laptop (500 or 650MHz) but
will consider others, especially IBM Thinkpads that use the
600-series accessories.  Battery needs to take and hold a
good charge, though I don't expect it to be as-new.
