EBC 144 Jr., 2 meter FM transceiver

This Emergency Beacon Corporation 2 meter FM
transceiver was considered to be the "Cadillac" of 2 
meter rigs in the 1970 and 80's.  It has two sets of
thumbwheel switches for frequency selection, covering
the entire 2 meter band.  There are provisions for odd
splits, although the rig automatically selects the correct
offset for repeaters.  Of course it can be used on simplex
also.  Scan provisions are included, along with a priority
channel watch.  The receiver sensitivity is exceptional.
Power output is rated at 20 watts, and it uses real 
transistors, instead of a "module."

This particular unit works fine, and looks very, very good.
Along with the regular paper work, an advertising brochure
is included.  These sold for about $500 in the 70's, so you
know they were the real "Cadillac."  $75 plus shipping from
Florida.
