Shure 404 B hand microphone

This is an extremely heavy duty hand microphone.
It is "built like a tank", and has a coiled cord that is
actually rubber covered, and not vinyl.  The microphone
element is a controlled magnetic element, which makes
it very similar to the popular Shure 444, only this is a
hand mic instead of a desk mic.

This particular unit appears to be unused.
