Greetings to the lists (Plural INTENDED)
 
 
First of all, thank you to all of you who responded to my "cry for help" 
after my system crash.
 
But most importantly, thank you to the station who wished not to be named 
publicly, for the drivers you sent
via email. (You know who you are.)
 
Barring Windows/IE 6 updates, and reinstalling my AV, I'm now back up & 
running, at about 90% of "pre-crash"
conditions, from a software point of view.
 
Also as a quick note, I've determined that my HDD crash was caused by a 
faulty motor, which I might add, has
been  my only failure with a Western Digital product. (well out of warranty) 
I had most of the software on it backed
up, so it should only take me about a week to be back at 100%
 
Your responses (about 60 as of this writing) were a lot more than I expected, 
and in quite literally, less than an hour's time.
 
It's for reasons like this, that make me proud to be a Ham, and I will remain 
one until my last breath!!!
