Hi,
I have a very nice Timewave DSP-59+ audio filter that I'll be willing to swap
for any of the below listed items. The DSP-59+ was Timewave's premium DSP,
2nd only to their 599zx (which is STILL very expensive). This connects
between your rig and it's external speaker. Has outputs for Speaker, Headset,
Line output (to a recorder, data terminal, computer soundcard etc). Has a PTT
input to allow bypassing during transmissions if so desired. The receipt
inside the owners manual shows the unit cost 259.95 new, so it isn't a cheap
DSP!
Some features.
1. CW Filters: Center Frequencies 400-1000Hz at 50 Hz increments, Bandwidth
25-600 Hz in 15 steps. CW marker tone at center of selected filter. Special
filters for Collins rigs. VERY effective narrow CW filtering.
2. Voice filters: Highpass 200-1600 Hz, Lowpass 1700-3400 Hz. Rejection 60dB
at 180Hz outside of passband.
3. Data filters: Special filters for RTTY, AMTOR, PACTOR, G-TOR, SSTV, WEFAX,
CLOVER.
4. Has AGC, front panel adjustment of Noise reduction aggressiveness etc.
Separate noise reduction switches for "white noise"/static and heterodynes
(tuner-uppers).
5. Firmware is version 3.02, Cosmetics are at LEAST 9/10, Electrically 10/10
and the factory manual is included.
What I'm looking for:
1. A CW KEYER AND set of IAMBIC Paddles. Brand not particularly important so
long as the paddles have good "feel", are adjustable and in good condition.
Either separate units OR something like the MFJ 422D paddle/keyer combo is
fine. I'm NOT particularly interested in the Heathkit keyer/paddle. IF the
keyer has programmable memories that is even better.
2. ICOM FL-53A NARROW CW filter (250 Hz) OR one of the InRAD Solder-in 455KC
NARROW CW filters. NOTE: Before shipping the DSP I would have to have the
filter "in-hand" to test and make sure it's good (that or an absolute
guarantee of suitability). I once paid for a filter that turned out to be bad
and had a terrible time getting it straightened out.
3. Heil full "Over both ears" headset with attached mike, preferably wired
for the Icom 8 pin connector (though I can always rewire the plug).
4. $125.00 CASH plus shipping is good, though I'd really prefer the
keyer/paddles (Money Order or cashier check).
TERMS: Except for number 4 above, each pays the shipping charges for the item
he/she is mailing and will insure that the unit is adequately packed against
damage and insured (or accepts responsibility for any shipping damage). For
number 3 I will insure item is well packed and insured.
