I bought these many months ago to build a KW+ dummy
load, then found a Heath HM-2103 KW Meter-Dummy Load
that is sufficient to my need and requires less work
when time is needed for other projects.
All six were new old stock wrapped in fluffy brown
wrap inside individual white boxes. Four are still
wrapped (I unwrapped a couple to find one with stamped
text I could read) ... I think they read as follows:
E81L ML250 300 Ohm 10% 8T 1T A1
Tube shaped 12" long, 1 3/4" wide 1/16" thick walls
I believe that mounted in parallel these will make a
1.5-2KW dry dummy load at 50 Ohms, more with a fan.
I'd prefer to sell these as a lot of 6 for $100. including
shipping conus -- if no takers will sell them for $25. each.
(I am told a pair might be good for a Rhombic.)
