I hv a Final Project Report for the Mariner-Mars 1964 Spacecraft for
sale that was published by NASA.  It's softbound, 346 pages & in gud
condx.  I just finished reading it &, although this project is quite
old, it's vy interesting reading.  It's been on my bookshelves since
1968.

The Chapter topics are:

Summary of Scientific & Engineering Results
Trajectory
Space Vehicle System Design & Testing Operations
Flight History & Space Vehicle Performance (describes all of the
spacecraft systems)
Tracking & Data Acquisition
Space Flight Operations
Scientific Results & Conclusions
Project History & Organization

One of the most interesting chapters to me was the discussion of NASA's
Deep Space Network & Deep Space Instrumentation Facility where they used
their network of 25.9 meter (85 ft) dishes to track & communicate with
this spacecraft.  It's amazing how accurately they could pin-point the
location of the spacecraft & control it.

This book weighs abt 2 lbs so if I can mail it within the States for 2
lbs via Priority Mail, the mailing costs will be between $3.95 to $5.75
depending on Zone.  I can check later to see what the cost would be if I
can mail it at the cheaper periodical rate.  Asking $20 OBO + postage
