Motor driven vacuum variable capacitor, 10-1000 pF, 3-10 kv - rated at 10 kv
when capacitor at low end, progressing to 3 kv when capacitor is at max.  28
vdc motor operates at 12 vdc but at a slower speed.  Built-in limit switch
end stops protect travel on both ends.  Perfect for remote shunt feeding
tower.  Originally described on page 49 of Surplus Sales of Nebraska,
Catalog 8, at $295, but they have no more and they are rarely ever offered.
I have a pair that were purchased from Surplus Sales about 10 years ago and
are still in the box.  Another one of my many projects that never got of the
ground.  I have a photo I can send.  $95 each or both for $180.  Shipping
