Greeting's All,
I just received from the "E " place an James Millen Tone
Modulator Model Number 90751. Dose anyone have a manual or any type of
documention for this little gem. All found on the web was a schematic,
what I really need to know is what battery was used in it. From the
schematic it appears to be a 22.5 volt Mercury type. For those of you
who own Grid-Dip Meters, this little gem plugs into the phone jack on the
GDO and modulates the RF with an appox 880 Hz tone, this makes finding a
signal a little easy'er. The funny thing is I just completed a modern
version of it using an LM1458. I built mine into an die-cast box, with a
spst push button switch to turn it on when it's plugged into the GDO. If
anyone wants the information on how I built mine, I can send a couple of
photo's and a scan of the schematic. Just drop me a note. Thanks for any
and all help.
