This is the NRI Training Kit Manual 3R, which came with the Conar 400 in
kit form. The manual is in SUPERB shape and includes these sections:
Your Novice Transmitter
Safety Precautions
Specifications
Circuit Description
Controls and Connections
Operation
Operating Your Station
Maintenance
Parts List
Schematic
But the real treasure is the two LARGE (17"x22") sheets containing
Assembly Sheet - No. 1 - Front Panel Assembly," "Assembly Sheet - No. 2
- Mounting Parts on Chassis," and "Assembly Sheet - No. 3 - Final Wiring
and Concluding Instructions." These are ORIGINAL!
Assembly Sheets No. 1 and No.2 are on opposite sides of the first large
sheet. Assembly Sheet No. 3 is on one side of the second large sheet
and the reverse side is blank. These three assembly sheets very
cleverly contain the entire assembly instructions for the Conar 400...no
large book...just two large sheets of clear and concise procedures and
oversized drawings in three colors. Again, these are original and VERY
collectable and hard-to-find.
Also included is a small 12-page manual entitled "General Assembly
Instructions" which explains how to use the assembly sheets, how to
solder, and how to identify electronic parts. This manual is in NEW
condition but bears the words "1969 Edition." This manual was clearly a
part of the included documentation that came with the Conar 400 kit and
the NRI Training Kit Manual 3R.
For the Conar collector, this complete and original documentation
package is an incredible buy!
There ARE some "opaque" spots on the assembly sheets that appear to have
been caused by contact with some liquid, but these are hardly noticeable
and do not affect the legibility in any way.
First $10 gets all! (includes Media Mail shipping)
Cashier's check, money order, or personal check. Manual will ship the
day following receipt of payment.
Tnx es 73!
