Hi,
I am, for the most part leaving the radio hobby to follow other pursuits, at
least for the foreseeable future (after about 50 years it's called
"burnout"). So, I have a few remaining items for sale. All in good
condition, unless otherwise stated most items are like new. Purchase of
multiple items may receive a small reduction in shipping costs, though I
have tried to quote realistic "shipping costs" here (like I need to get a
roll of bubbles). WILL SHIP TO THE LOWER 48 STATES ONLY, **Postal Money
orders please**.
1. MFJ 949E ANTENNA TUNR, nearly new. 300 Watts with cross needle meter.
Good electrically and cosmetically, it's never been "arced". A (removable)
mounting bracket is neatly installed on either side to mount it below a
shelf. About 4 months old, AES gets 139.99 + shipping.
I want $80.00 + 8.00 Shipping.
2. MFJ 1701 6 position ANTENNA SWITCH (can switch either 6 antennas to one
rig, or 1 antenna to 6 rigs). Grounds unused antennas/rigs. Like new. AES
gets 49.99 + shipping.
I want $25.00 + 6.00 Shipping.
3. MFJ 1116 Deluxe DC POWER STRIP. The one with a Voltmeter, master power
switch, fuse and 8 double banana jack/binding post outputs. Good for
running multiple accessories such as Receivers, audio filters, antenna
tuners, HT's, mobile VHF rigs etc (not suggested for high power HF radios),
all off one 12 Volt power supply of suitable current rating. Like new, AES
gets 49.99 + Shipping.
I want $25.00 + 6.00 Shipping.
4. Baggie of 28 COAX ADAPTERS of various genres and genders. Includes
several PL-259 female barrels (join two cables), PL-259 right angles and
Tee's, BNC/PL-259 adapters of various genders, Female PL-259-Motorola (for
scanners), BNC Tees and more. PRICELESS for field day or around the shack.
NO JUNK!
I want $12.00 + 3.00 mailing (that's 54 cents each and the baggie is heavy).
5. Realistic 21-506 DUMMY LOAD. DC-500 MHz, it's rated at 15 Watts
continuos, but will handle higher (briefly up to 100W if I recall correctly)
with a de-rating curve. Good for testing those HT's and mobile VHF/UHF (or
even QRP HF) rigs. Not sure I have the manual on this one. (Somebody else
marketed this item under their own name, don't recall who). This one shows
a little wear on the anodized aluminum heatsink but works 100%.
I want $12.00 INCLUDES shipping.
6. CRYSTAL CALIBRATOR. An "oddball" but VERY useful item. Compact,
HOMEBREWED, crystal controlled "marker generator" for alignment of HF
receivers etc. Also useful for accurately finding where you are on an
analog general coverage receiver. It will generate an RF signal at 10, 5, 2
or 1 MHz intervals, OR 200, 100, 50 or 25 kHz intervals (switch selectable
interval). It has a variable attenuator or level control and BNC output
jack. It needs 10-15 VDC input (internal regulator) and has about a
gazillion IC's to divide the Xtal oscillator down and select the desired
interval (uses 4066 FET switches to select the interval). Not pretty, but
well made/shielded, No DOCS but easy to use, it has aligned many a receiver
(poor man's signal generator it's better than the cheapie Heathkits etc)).
I want $20.00+ 6.00 shipping (I probably have that much in the chips and IC
sockets).
7. LOW PASS FILTER. Clean up that boatanchor transmitter. Omega
Industries Model 101840. Not sure of the power rating, but from the size of
the copper wire in the coil and the 15KV capacitors it has to be a bunch!
Shows some wear.
$20.00 INCLUDES shipping.
8. ONE PAIR of Radio Shack 4 inch mobile speakers with mounting brackets,
Cat # 21-549. Near new condition. NOT been mobile, they were mounted under
the radio shelf. R/S gets 15.00 EACH.
$19.00 for the PAIR gets them to your door.
73 from the "Beaconeers Lair".
