I'm replying to the the group, in case someone may not realize what
I'm about to say. I believe that this antenna is
standard size tubing, which means that you should be able to go to a supply
house in your area and buy the tube and cut it to length.
You can save the antenna as long as the boom isn't destroyed. Even that is
replaceable with a little effort. You might be surprised how
cheap you can fix the thing.
