Hv 2 Texscan Sweep Signal Generators (model SG-677/U) for sale.  They
cover a center frequency range of 500KHz to 1200MHz & hv variable sweep
widths fm 10KHz to 400MHz.  A built in detector provides X & Y outputs
to an oscilloscope for displaying the swept waveform.  These are very
well built & fully enclosed units & can be rack mounted (standard 8.75 x
19" panel).  Or, the entire enclosure fits into a very sturdy RFI proof
metal case for transporting & portable operation.

I hv gone thru the entire Field Level Calibration Procedure for both
units except for accurately setting the RF output level since I don't hv
a RF power meter to measure 6mw at 1200 MHz.  However, I hv verified the
output level on my spectrum analyzer.

They come with a photocopy of the Technical Manual for Operation &
Maintenance (includes schematics).  Fair Radio Sales in Ohio sells these
units as "used/repairable" for $275 + $15 for a photocopy of the manual.
The 2 units I hv for sale are:

1.  The better looking one of the two which meets all field calibration
spec levels is priced at $195 & includes the manual & heavy duty
carrying case.

2.  The 2nd unit is not quite as clean but works.  I replaced 2 broken
knobs & the unregulated 50vdc supply has 800mv ripple vs the spec of
500mv max.  Probably needs a filter cap replaced.  The regulated
supplies all meet specs.  Will sell this unit without the heavy duty
carrying case for $100 or for $135 with the carrying case.  Manual is
included.  This price is worth it for the parts alone.  For example, it
has a nice 0-70dB attenuator in 10dB steps.

Will need to add shipping + packing costs to the above figures.  These
are a great piece of test equipment for those of us who cannot afford a
network analyzer.
