We happen to have a local surplus house for many small NON capacitor
parts, but the higher voltage type capacitors in tube radios are
difficult to find. One solution is to bulk buy from one of the major
vendors and take advantage of the qty discounts. Everybody puts their
order in with one individual, sends him their money, he buys, and
distributes to the rest using real shipping rates.

Hey, fellows,

I used to get my replacement caps from Everett Hoard in North Dakota, but
now that he's out of the business, the "traditional" suppliers, Mouser
and
the like, are more
than double Everett'sprices.

Who are you guys buying them from these days?

I'll compile the answers and let you all know.
