I use it for smaller amounts as it is handy to have for small
purchases online.
I had trouble in the past extracting my money from PayPal and
they have an absurdly long hold on deposits -- way longer than
an electronic transfer takes so I have to believe they are
profitting from the interest gathered -- same as the banks.
(I think NY and some other states legislated limits on the
bank holds years ago.)
Yes, I'd use it for small stuff, no I would not for costly
items.
