Hello All, 	
	
Can anyone tell me anything about the Pierce Simpson model 55 marine
transciever? I think the "Pierce" part of the name was dropped in latter years
and it was just Simpson. 	
	
I was given one several years ago, but was told little about it other than it
was operational. It has a very large hand mike suitable for a big fisted Tug
boat Captain! 	
	
Does anyone know the bands it operated in? Crystal controlled? RF output?
