FOR SALE
First let me thank all of those that helped me determine what it was 
that I had here. The response has been great!
Some indicated they might be interested if I decided to sell. Some made 
offers when they responded. I have decided
to sell!  I don't have the time, space or energy to undertake the 
project of putting  the HRO back in shape.
I'm putting  the HRO 5-T  Sr# J897 up for sale, as near as I can tell it 
is complete with tubes and has been tropical
treated against mildew.  Since that coating is intact everywhere, I 
don't think any work of any kind has been done
on the unit.  Pictures are available, please request and I will send.
National emblem upper left next to meter. ID tag stating 'National High 
Frequency Receiver 5T, Malden Mass, and
other info, upper right. Cosmetics are excellent, 9+.  Electrically, 
hasn't been turned on in years.
Dog House power supply, no mods.
4 Coil sets;   1.7 - 4.0  stamped J897, each can marked w "T"
                     3.5 - 7.3 stamped J897, each can marked w "T"
Type "A" set  14  - 30
Type "B" set   7.0  - 14.4
A sloppy stamp applied to the inside of the cover indicates the mildew & 
fungus proofing was done
